Apocynum venetum is a Chinese herb (Luobuma tea) with emerging evidence for blood pressure reduction and anxiolytic effects. A 2010 Chinese RCT found it reduced systolic BP by 12 mmHg. Contains hyperoside and isoquercitrin (flavonoids) that inhibit ACE and activate eNOS. Traditional use for hypertension/insomnia in China. Limited Western clinical data.
