AVELOR SUMMARY
The most consistent human evidence sits with nausea endpoints at roughly 1 to 2g/day, where several independent meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials report that ginger is associated with lower nausea in postoperative, early pregnancy, and chemotherapy settings. Evidence for musculoskeletal pain and exercise soreness is weaker and mixed: a dedicated knee osteoarthritis review concluded the evidence is insufficient, and the best-controlled delayed onset muscle soreness trial was null. Tolerability carries a cost, with discontinuation roughly doubled versus placebo in the osteoarthritis pooling.
